Old Business

The Car Show efforts are moving along. Ken said that a source of electricity downtown is a problem. Many of the outlets no longer provide electricity. Neal Johnson has tested those near our center of operations only a few currently work. Several options are being explored. Wayne Vineyard has secured a scissor lift to support the speakers at an elevation to reach everyone at the show with sound. Bob Mathews at Eastland Shopping Center provided the lift. Please thank those that help us when you can.

Vendors report - We will have a German food truck and Weezie's will provide biscuit and gravy for breakfast and pulled pork sandwich for lunch. There will also be Mexican cuisine and a pin stripper. So lets get your pins stripped.

Tommy Miller, Tommy's Transmissions, is ready to build the transmission. Ken will check with Greg Joslin at Peru Salvage about the timing.

To aid with locating where registration is to take place Jeannie Harris procured a banner, 2.5 X 5 ft and bright red. She also revised the forms so that by using a carbon-less carbon paper they will only have to write the information once and get two copies.

New Business

At their last meeting the Board of Directors proposed that the four runner-ups to the High Five trophy receive $200 rather than the $100 that they received last year. This is double the $100 given to the top 20 cars. Bernie Baldwin moved and Emmerich Lakadosch seconded that the Club award $200 to the four runner-ups to the High Five trophy. Motion passed.

Ray and Jeanie reported that the Club member order t-shirts will be available at the next meeting. They are still taking orders. They will order 150 shirts for general sales at the Annual Show. This number is down from previous years with the intent to have less, none, left over shirts. The sizes will be limited to L, XL and XXL. So either bulk up or trim down as needed.
